“How much is a Pilates class?” is the question we hear most, on WhatsApp, at the desk and in Google. This guide gives you the straight answer for 2026: what a class costs, how packs and memberships bring the price down, and how to pick the option that fits how often you train.
All prices are for The Reformr Pilates Studio at Shams Boutik, Al Reem Island and The Reformr Lagree Studio at Abu Dhabi Mall, in AED and excluding 5% VAT.
The short answer
- Your first class: a tryout is AED 159 for Reformer Pilates and AED 169 for Lagree.
- A class in a pack: from about AED 133 to AED 155, depending on the pack.
- A class on a monthly membership: from AED 125, and lower still with unlimited.
The more often you come, the less each class costs. The rest of this guide shows exactly how.
What changes the price of a Pilates class?
Not all Pilates is priced the same. Four things make the biggest difference:
- Reformer or mat. Reformer classes use a machine for every person, so they cost more than a mat class in a gym. You also get far more from each session: the springs add resistance and support, so the workout adapts to you.
- Group size. Small classes mean your instructor actually sees you. Our Pilates studio has seven Merrithew® V2 Max reformers, so a full class is still small.
- Group or private. A private session is built around you alone, which is why it costs more (see below).
- Pack or membership. Buying classes together lowers the price of each one.
Your first class
| First visit | Price | Use within |
|---|---|---|
| Reformer Pilates tryout | AED 159 | 3 weeks |
| Lagree tryout | AED 169 | 3 weeks |
| Intro: 3 mixed classes (new clients) | AED 399 | 3 weeks |
The intro pack is the best way to try both: three classes, Reformer Pilates or Lagree, for AED 133 a class. It is for new clients, one per person.

Class packs: pay once, book as you go
A pack suits you if your weeks are unpredictable or you travel. Each pack gives you plenty of weeks to use it.
| Pack | Reformer Pilates | Per class | Lagree | Per class | Use within |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 4 classes | AED 550 | AED 137.50 | AED 620 | AED 155 | 10 weeks |
| 8 classes | AED 1,075 | AED 134 | AED 1,200 | AED 150 | 17 weeks |
| 16 classes | AED 2,125 | AED 133 | AED 2,285 | AED 143 | 28 weeks |
Want both studios? Mixed packs let you choose Pilates or Lagree class by class: 10 classes for AED 1,450 (AED 145 a class, use within 19 weeks) or 20 classes for AED 2,790 (AED 139.50 a class, use within 30 weeks).
Monthly memberships: the lowest price per class
If you train most weeks, a membership costs less per class than any pack, and your classes renew by themselves every month.
| Membership, per month | Reformer Pilates | Per class | Lagree | Per class |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Basic, 4 classes | AED 520 | AED 130 | AED 540 | AED 135 |
| Advanced, 8 classes | AED 1,000 | AED 125 | AED 1,040 | AED 130 |
| Pro, unlimited (1 class a day) | AED 1,980 | less the more you come | AED 2,160 | less the more you come |
On Pro, five classes a week works out to under AED 100 a class. Want both studios on one membership? Unlimited Mixed is AED 2,460 a month for Pilates and Lagree, one class a day.
There is no lock-in: you can cancel with one month’s notice. Unused membership classes don’t carry over to the next month, so pick the tier that matches how often you really come.
Private Reformer Pilates
A private session is fully built around you: your goals, your body, your pace. It is a good choice after an injury, in pregnancy (with your doctor’s approval) or when you want faster progress on technique.
| Private session | Price | Use within |
|---|---|---|
| Solo, 1 session | AED 450 | 4 weeks |
| Duo, 1 session (2 people) | AED 800 | 4 weeks |
| Trio, 1 session (3 people) | AED 1,125 | 4 weeks |
| 5 solo sessions | AED 2,150 | 6 weeks |
| 10 solo sessions | AED 4,100 | 10 weeks |
Which option fits you?
- Once a week: a Basic membership (4 classes a month) gives you the rhythm and the lower price.
- Twice a week: Advanced (8 classes a month) is AED 125 a class on Pilates.
- Three times a week or more: Pro, unlimited, one class a day.
- Busy, travelling or not sure yet: a 4 or 8-class pack, with 10 or 17 weeks to use it.
- Both studios: a Mixed pack, or Unlimited Mixed.
Frequently asked questions
How much does a Pilates class cost in Abu Dhabi?
At The Reformr, a single Reformer Pilates tryout is AED 159 and a Lagree tryout is AED 169. After that, a class costs AED 125 to AED 155 depending on your pack or membership, excluding VAT.
What is a reasonable price for Pilates?
For small-group Reformer Pilates on professional equipment with a certified instructor, AED 125 to AED 160 a class is a fair price on a pack or membership. A single drop-in usually costs more. Look at the price per class, the class size and how long a pack lasts, not only the total.
How much does a Pilates membership cost per month?
Our Reformer Pilates memberships are AED 520 a month for 4 classes, AED 1,000 for 8 classes and AED 1,980 for unlimited (one class a day). Lagree memberships are AED 540, AED 1,040 and AED 2,160.
Is Pilates twice a week enough?
For most people, yes. Twice a week is enough to feel stronger and see a change in posture and core strength within a few weeks. Once a week keeps you moving; three times a week speeds things up. That is why our memberships come in 4, 8 and unlimited classes a month.
Are there ladies-only Pilates classes?
Yes. At Shams Boutik we run both ladies-only and mixed Reformer Pilates classes, and the class type is shown on the schedule when you book.
